If the client is comfortable, I will take a few candid birth photos and share them within 72 hours of delivery in a password protected gallery — at no additional charge.

Additional Postpartum Visit

Additional postpartum visits provide hands-on, non-medical support during the early weeks after birth, when many families benefit from continued guidance and reassurance.

• Feeding support (non-clinical; bottle, breast, combination feeding)

• Emotional check-ins and recovery support

• Guidance around light newborn-related household tasks

50% due at contract signing

💳 Payment Options

I offer several flexible payment options to make booking support as accessible as possible:

• Stripe (via Doulado) – My primary payment method and the best option for clients planning to use HSA/FSA funds. Eligibility and approval are determined by your individual plan.

• Square – Available as an alternative payment option and may offer Buy Now, Pay Later options such as Klarna or Afterpay, subject to approval.

• Venmo, Cash, ACH or Check – Also accepted.

Processing Fees
A 3% processing fee applies to payments made via Stripe, Square (standard payments), or Venmo.
Payments made using Buy Now, Pay Later options incur a 6% transaction fee.

Important Notes

• Buy Now, Pay Later options are administered by third-party providers and cannot be used with HSA/FSA funds.

• Approval of HSA/FSA payments or reimbursement is determined by your plan administrator.

• Detailed invoices or receipts are provided to support reimbursement submissions when applicable.

All doula services with Empowered Beginnings are provided on a private-pay basis.

I am registered with Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey to support insurance reimbursement for doula services. If your plan offers a doula benefit, I provide detailed invoices and superbills to help you submit for reimbursement.

Coverage and reimbursement amounts vary by plan.

Empowered Beginnings does not bill insurance directly.
